Headshotting a mech?

Which weapon do you use mostly to kill a mech?

Anyone knows if its possible to headshot a mech? A mech has 60 armor so a prototype could kill it in 1 headshot but it always take 2 shots or more to kill (probably because i missed). The mech's head is so freakin small, how does the player's head even fit in that thing?!
So does a headshot affects the damage on a mech? Anyone tested it before? And which gun do you think its more effective to kill a mech? AGB or PSR?
 
I don't have any of those guns,but I do have the Ultimate Headhunter though.I would test to see if headshots does more damage but I really don't come across mechanical suits that much._.
 
Based on my experience. Headshots to the Mech are indeed possible. Simply aim at where the players head is inside the Mech. Projectile weapons do bonus damage on mech.

I dont really see them in 2 min matches, but in the 10 min+ matches, i see at least 1 of them like every game. I usually play the 2 min matches though, so its kinda hard to test.

So its possible to 1 shot a mech with a prototype? Getting a headshot is quite hard though especially since people who use mech usually uses jetpack and invis at the same time too.

Yes it is possible. Though I'd personally use the AGB, since everyshot is like a headshot to the mech.
 
I guess the mech just only increase the size of the model, but the player body still there(Inside the mech), I guess we should try to use PSR and headshot mech lower the mech head a bit, so we could kill a mech in 1 hit?

The mech changes character models and increases hitbox until its destroyed.
 
A max upgraded psr can one-hit up 3 or lower mech and up 4 and above takes 2-4 shots to destroyed.

Wait theres different tiers of mech? I got the highest tier for turrets and mech (red tier) for free although i dont use them at all. Ill take it though.

It's possible...because I'm the only one crazy enough to rush at a mech with a Hellrasier...but you do get headshots I have gotten a couple before.

AKA Upgrades for them.
 
i would say no to the headshot thing cause whats the difference bettwen shoting a mech in the head or body in Real life
 
For mechs i believe abg would be the quickest way to destroy a mech. But i dont really sure since i only have prototype up1.
