Text Hacker?

Basically I was playing PG3D.

But then suddenly...



3/4 of my screen was orange.

Everybody was complaining about this guy, so I told everyone to calm down. Then I checked the chat to see how he typed it:



Judging by these screenshots, do you guys know how he did this? I'm not sure if he's the only one using this "hack".
