THE NUKE ON NUCLEAR CITY KILLED ME! WTF

So there I was, I made my own server with a locked password. I jumped over the fence out of bounds, and walked over to face where the nuke explodes. I'm just standing there, and all of a sudden after the blast started my chars arm starts flashing red!! No one was there, and I didn't self hurt myself. My shields never disappeared, but my hearts dwindled down until I died!
Can I say that the "radiation" on Nuclear City can kill you? IT CAN! Some photos of this radioactive fatality below:

The Nuke has radiation and as we all know, we die from too much exposure to radiation.

It's pretty logical I think.
Nuclear radiation is pretty deadly and it would definitely kill people in radius.
I used to wonder why the nuclear blast didn't kill us before this update. I reckon it's pretty kewl how they added this
Just adds more realistic side of the game doesn't it? XD

Ha I must have fell thousands of feet from using the jet pack and lost no health. They should fix that though.

I guess they added "dynamic elements" to maps meaning that you can interact with certain innovations in the map.

They are making the game kinda more realistic, so that's why. You died because you were too close to the nuke too. The area inside the fence is far away from the nuke, allowing you to survive the nuke in normal gameplay.

In the update changelog:
...• some objects in the game can hurt you.
They didn't mention about ELEMENTS though
