Is suicide(in-game) okay?

I know that is individually, but let me know what you think of commiting (sorry for the spelling) suicide in game? I do it myself, but only when I am not in the middle of a fight, but after I found out (I never noticed that before) I have kept an eye out for players who does that, and my God.. There are so many players using that tactic, and even though I am a pretty fair and earnest person (I never cheat) I have used it several times when I am out of ammo etc.. Due that I have changed my playstyle from sniper to "head on" and wearing the crown and demolition cape, it is impossible for me to use it, but I can see the advantages of doing so.. But how about you guys? Do you kill yourself or not (yes I am a little bored so I decided to write a topic that is not so important).. And do you think rilidoft should change it? And have a nice weekend everyone..
 
no its not okay if you ask me, i think that its being a coward and its ruining the experience, a lot of these so called "pro players" do this just to get the win

I totally agree with you on that.. It is a pain in the.... when you are about to kill another player, and the other player knows that he/she is toast, and they just jump outside the map or blow them self up.. Instead of the underground outside maps, they should just make a big wall around all maps..
 
No this isn't ok to kill yourself. It's annoying and a cheap thing to do. Just accept that you're gonna die. Rilisoft should make it that when your try to blow yourself up it doesn't kill you,but leaves you with very very little health. Now I have accidentally blown myself up or fallen out of the map,but the reasons why it happend were good ones.

Like when my own team mate decides to use the mine launcher and I'm about to kill an enemy with a solar power canon. Instead my team mate decides to spray those little bombs everywhere,and I go flying out of the map,or I go flying near a wall and blow myself up because of my team.

Hahaha I hear you on that one... When I first bought the mine launcher I did not leave it out of sight, untill I got on a team with more players with mine launcher.. For 3 minutes I was just flying around the map so I decided to retire the mine launcher.. The whole map was one big mine field.

So suicide is basically kys.
Suiciding as you confront an enemy is never a good thing. It just shows how cowardly you are to your enemy so that they can laugh at you. It also shows how nooby the player is for doing that.
The only problems in here is that Rilisoft didn't create a system which penalizes the player for suiciding in front of the enemy and it's EXTREMELY EASY to kill yourself in this game. You have your Premium weapons. You have grenades. You have map bounds which kills you as you step into them.

I'll admit I did not read the bracketed part...
As an expert coward in the art of suicide, I will do everything in my power to not let the enemy team win, even IF it means going to the scummy methods. Let's be honest here calling someone a coward is stupid if they are underpowered or at a disadvantage no one in their right mind would dive into something they know they would lose (except me sometimes but you don't know that do you? I mean YOLO has worked pretty well for me recently). What's the point of playing if you don't win and get a reward? It's a waste of time IMO. So stay on your High Horse if you would like, but as a Pixel Gun coward I approve of this method. But eventually you WILL have to fight fire with fire...

I agree with you on the coward thing, and even though I don't agree with you on the suicide thing, I have used it myself Many times and I don't think that there is a right or wrong answer.. If you have only one health left and 3 enemy is coming against you, it would be bad strategy not committing suicide, or if you are out of ammo etc, so I do understand your thinking about this.. Rilisoft should at least make a suicide via the underground count as a kill to the enemy team I think.. Self damage is more difficult to fix.
 
I get the game isn't Mortal Kombat Deception or whatever, but maybe when you get to a low amount of health, an option for Hara Kiri is there. Yes, I'm sadistic. And the last person who shot the the user who did hara kiri gets a kill confirmed.
 
Intentional suicide in-game isn't ok. It's annoying that people kill themselves (in-game, not real life) just to save themselves from dying or if they are out of ammo. That's just plain annoying. Unintentional suicide, however, is probably fine. I've killed myself on accident several times (don't judge me).
