Do you think Rilisoft should remove armor/gems/mechs/turrets?

After that day ends what will you do with the results?
I'll leave that as a surprise but I'll let you know as soon as it's over. I'll keep the poll running since I probably won't hit my target number of votes, but I don't want this thing to run for too long and make people impatient, so I'll just comment on the results that we get in that time and of course announce what I have planned next. Thanks for voting.

OK WELCOME i will be watching the thread from now and then to see what has happend

Umm are you from 7.0.0 or something? Nobody uses bows and wands anymore because they are useless. I think dragons breath is underpowered because it does so little damage. Have you ever heard of a laser minigun and the new dater hater? Yeah, the laser minigun does like 10 damage per shot and the dater hater does 30, And they both shoot decently fast. Ruby armor? Yeah its quite op and you should get it even if you think it will be unfair to others. You will be fighting full ruby armor users every game when you get to higher levels. Im lv 26 and everyone i battle have at least crystal armor, and the only way to get kills is prototype. Too little coins? Go play time survival. I own eveything that cost coins and i have too many coins now. Daters? Just turn off the freakin chat and get free kills. I hardly see daters anyways because they are so easy to kill.
Sorry for the late post.
Um, yes, I've heard of the laser minigun and the dater hater. I'm already in the latest update.

If @RiliSoft adds that, I quit.
Why? I think you misunderstood that.
Mech mode: everyone spawns in with a free mech, unable to use any weapons, and when their mech dies, they die too and respawns in with another mech.
Primary weapons mode: like sniper forts and knife party. You can only use primary weapons. So no explosives and no op weapons.
Btw those are my ideas so sorry if you still dont like them.
Heres why i want those added
Mech mode: Everyone will have the same gear. You cant use weapons and you die when your mech gets destroyed so armor wont have any effect too. Lower level players will be able to fight higher level players with the same gear.
Primary mode: Because nobody uses primaries anymore. I want to use my hellraiser but everyone always uses explosives so i HAVE to use mine.

Why would I have a clear misunderstanding? Now there's threads about turning Pixel Gun 3D into a open-world game.

Now that the poll has run for 3 days, I will tally up the results and comment on what they have revealed. In this poll I asked if there was anything from pixel gun 3d that you would like to see removed and if so, in what way. 35 people responded to the poll including myself and the results were:

Yes - 13 votes
Yes - But only some - 10 votes
No - Just modify them - 7 votes
No - Absolutely not - 5 votes

Thanks to everyone who has voted.

What we can see from the results is that 30/35 or 6/7 people who voted agreed that armor/gems/mechs/turrets/jetpacks need to at least be modified in some way from their current form, while 23/35 or about 2/3 of all people who voted feel that at least some of them should be removed.

As I mentioned earlier, this poll was not a popularity contest and therefore only reflects the attitudes and feelings of those who have voted. Ideally I'm sure that many players would like most things in the game to be either free or easily obtainable, however this would not make sense for Rilisoft as a business. Despite this, there must be some balance between what we would like to see added into the game and the interests of Rilisoft. Therefore, if we do not like certain features of the game we must display our feelings and Rilisoft should be firm in stating whether it is a concern for them, or whether those features we are complaining about are too profitable to be removed or changed. Rilisoft can not be blamed for seeking profits, however when they seek our opinions and act in a manner that is against those same suggestions, then they are being dishonest and are creating resentment towards their game and their company. This poll was primarily meant to address these problems.

So how did I respond to the poll? The option I selected was 'Yes - But only some', the reason for this was that I genuinely feel that it would be possible to modify most of the features mentioned to better the game. For example, armor could be improved in my opinion by reducing the additional bonus given as one progresses to the higher tiers of armor, this will become more apparent if, as expected, Rilisoft introduce another tier of armor (emerald?). Mechs could be implemented possibly as a mech mode, where one may upgrade their mech with coins, much in the same way one upgrades guns, or alternatively be used in a campaign mode level that would be much like the level in halo 2 where only the scorpion tank is used. Gems can obviously be modified, though it's arguable how. I am a fan of the 1 win=1gem idea but I don't know what the purpose of gems were, perhaps it was meant to remain an ultra-premium currency due to lack of IAPs, I do not know for sure, although personally I have my doubts. The turret and jetpack idea has no place in multiplayer, as it ruins the gameplay for all in my opinion. Potentially they could be used in a campaign level but that remains to be seen. So when weighing up which option to choose I weighed up whether it was fair to get rid of some of these features (albeit with some form of compensation), against the frustrating introduction of turrets in deadly games (among other game modes) and the constant nightmare of facing an invisible flying mech in full ruby armor. Since I felt that I would prefer a game without any of these features as opposed to one that included all of them, I decided for the middle option of 'Yes - But only some'.

Now that I have concluded that I feel that the only option is to have a discussion about what we would like Rilisoft to focus on next. So, would we prefer for them to modify some of the issues that we currently have, or is there an idea/s that you would rather see them focus on? I think this would provide positive and clear feedback about what this community would like to see in this game. I believe that the community here includes some of the most passionate and loyal supporters of this game and that their opinions should carry significant weight. Hopefully this can promote greater trust and cooperation between the players and developers of Rilisoft and provide a better outcome for both. I intend to have a new poll about these issues up and ready to deliver to Rilisoft by next week.

Finally I'd like to invite everyone to join in the discussion. Thanks for reading.

I just thought I'd briefly resurrect this thread by asking for suggestions on how we can alter some of the features in pixel gun that are quite unpopular in a way that is beneficial to both the playing community and Rilisoft. I will add some of my suggestions here soon but I'd really like to hear everyone else's ideas as well so that we can critique each other's ideas and hopefully provide an acceptable solution for all concerned.

Very well. @Bronzium, many others, and I, have thoroughly suggested eSports feature to be added in Pixel Gun 3D.

I'm not so much concerned about new ideas as there is already a thread for that which I assume Rilisoft view at times. What I'd like to see are ideas for how to change the current armor/gem/mech/turret system/s in order to satisfy both the players and the developers.

Here are some of the suggestions I have earlier proposed on each of these issues (in other threads):

Armor: I've proposed that the increase in health when upgrading tiers of armor should not be quite so large. Perhaps for each additional tier of armor, an extra headshot from a level appropriate primary (i.e hellraiser up 2 for lvl 22+). Alternately, Rilisoft could slightly increase the lethality of primary weapons in the highest tier (lvl 22+) in order to prevent players from having to revert to only using special and premium weapons. I feel that this would keep current armor owners happy as they'd still maintain a decent advantage, whilst all would benefit from more balanced gameplay.
Gems: Whilst I agree with the idea of 1 win = 1 gem, Rilisoft does not appear too keen on this idea as yet, in addition to quite a few here on the forum. My suggestion for awarding gems was to award them for earning achievements ranging in difficulty level, both on and offline. In addition, were Rilisoft to introduce a tournament system, winners or finalists may earn gems for their efforts.
Mechs: As I have mentioned earlier, I would like to see a mech incorporated into a new campaign level in which the difficulty level and number of enemies is greatly increased. I drew some inspiration for this idea from the halo 2 level in which the player must use a tank in order to cross a bridge filled with enemies. I am also in favour of a mech mode in co-op but doubt that this will eventuate.
Turrets: Again, unless there is some need for them in campaign, they have no place in the game at present, especially in deadly games.
Jetpack: Could be used in an exciting stealth mission in campaign, or possibly in a space themed mission. Once again I don't see its purpose in the game.
Invisibility Potion: This isn't too big of a concern since the user still seems to give off a noticeable sparkle. Of course I'd rather it wasn't in the game at all.

I see these ideas as benefitting both the players and the developers so I'd like to hear what all of you think, whether you agree or disapprove of these ideas and for what reason/s.

^^^My thoughts on armor

Thanks for your input, I wish Rilisoft was as eager to discuss their own game as much as some of you here. I will be offline until I hear from Rilisoft, though I'm not holding my breath. Until then I'll be crossing my fingers and hope for ALL concerned that the next update can salvage what's left of this game.
